Find your Calm & Freedom

About the podcast

In a fast-moving, restless world, the need to go inward to find meaning and peace of mind has never been more urgent. This collection of diverse and reflective conversations helps listeners cultivate the skills they need on the inside to find calm, no matter what’s happening on the outside.

What does a mentally healthy version of “success” look like? How do we define our self-worth? Our ambition? What self-awareness insights, time-honored wisdom and calming techniques can we utilize to better manage our emotions, avarice and ego, find inner peace, and be free to perform at our very best?

Inspired by modern and ancient knowledge with a blend of science and spirituality from both East and West, this podcast features stories & voices of monastics, Olympic-level athletes, Fortune 500 executives, spiritual leaders, theologians, authors, scientists and entrepreneurs.

Executive Producer & Host

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Pooja was motivated to succeed. At the age of 21, she made her way to the elite halls of Wall Street only to realize that prized version of success was ill-suited. A chance encounter with an ancient breathwork program during a difficult pregnancy, drove her to face her deepest fears and question her ideas around meaning, ambition, avarice, and society’s definition of success, which have become the genesis of this podcast.

She began her career in the late 90’s working as an Investment Banker at global investment banks DLJ, Morgan Stanley, Bear Sterns, and Merrill Lynch in London, New York and Los Angeles. She is the author of The 3-Day Reset, a graduate of the Sri Sri School of Yoga, and a mediator with the Art of Living. She also serves as an affiliate at Stanford University’s Department of Psychology. Pooja is an avid athlete, wife, mother, and speaker, and holds degrees from the University of Michigan (Phi Beta Kappa) and the London School of Economics.
